Disco Fever FOTD!

Today I was digging through my eyeshadows for a basic light pink smoky eye, but when I came across my silver and black sparkle eyeshadows I went with my instincts and went smoky eye crazy! This look was so fun to do, I actually got excited while applying the colors to my lid. In this picture I'm showing off my new nailpolish "I'm wired" by Sephora O.P.I. (Coral Orange, perfect for summer.) I lined my water line with kohl white eyeliner. On my lower lash line I applied starry sky with a smudge brush and Urban Decay glitter liquid liner in Heavy metal. These are the two colors I used from Sephora collection: The silver is Engagement ring, and the black is starry night. That is the Urban Decay liner I used. Nothing better than a glittery smoky eye in the morning for work.

I felt like disco fever all day!

That gets under my skin!

Lock up all makeup crime committers...

There are many makeup crimes! So many people love to push the boundaries of outrageous or even weird style through cosmetics; however, some people just commit sad attempts at perfection.

My worst makeup pet peeves:

1. False lashes with WAY to much mascara caked on top of them!

2. Individual semi-permanent eyelash extensions: they don't look real! Everyone knows you weren't born with those snuffaluffagus lashes. Just take baby oil to your eye and remove them, because you're not fooling anyone!

3. Lip liner is applied way too far from your "lip line." We all can see how big your lips are, so don't think we're convinced you have porn star lips from birth.

4. Bronzer that is applied all over the face and the neck is forgotten. Poor Neckline :(

5. Foundation that is the wrong color!

6. Women over the age of 40 that wear glitter, and I mean glitter not eyeshadow with some sparkle in it. (Sorry mean, but so wrong.)

7. Eyebrow powder that sits on the skin rather than on the brow hair.

8. Greasy eyelids, when the shadows all creased.

What wrong makeup acts get your skin crawling?!?

WWKW? (What Would Kim Wear?)

My latest poll on my blog was, "Which celebrity carries the best makeup trends?"
a) Kim Kardashian (53%)
b) Drew Barrymore (23%)
c) Scarlett Johansson (13%)
d) Cameron Diaz (10%)

Kim won by a whooping 53%!! So in dedication to all our love for her style of makeup, this blog is about WWKW?

WWKW? I got the inside scoop with alittle bit of research and stalking.. What is in Kim Kardashians makeup bag! Let's not kid ourselves, we we all love to hate on her, but we all want to know what she puts on that face! She doesn't always look sparkling and ready to go, every girl has their "just woke up" face. This is Kim minus the cosmetics:

She's a normal loooking girl, when she's not being pampered by her makeup artist Stephen Moleski. She has flaws, just like "normal" girls. So I wanted to see what her favorite products were.

On the daily Kim wears:

COMPLEXION
Makeup Forever HD foundation
Makeup Forever Face and Body Foundation (I heard she uses it on her legs)

CHEEKS:
Nars Orgasm blush
Nars Deep Throat

FUN FACT: Nars Orgasm blush is the top selling blush IN THE WORLD! One sells every 5 seconds!

LIPS
Nars Belle Du Jour Lipstick (A light honey nude):

Nars lipgloss in Greek Holidy (Pinkish with multi-colored sparkle, one of MY FAVORITES as well. I love it over a pink lipstick and liner, gorgeous!)
Mac lipliner in Stripdown
Nars lipgloss in Chihuahua (rosey brownish)
Nars lipgloss in Turkish Delight (a very pale pink):

LASHES
Diorshow Mascara (She applys this in her sex tape with Ray J, Scandal! lol)
Lancome Hypnose Drama (She says she uses this on her blog)

DARK CIRCLES
MAC concealer stick in NW25 and NW30
MAC paint pot in Painterly

EYESHADOWS
Makeup Forever eyeshadows:

ANOTHER FUN FACT: I met and personally trained with the creator of Makeup Forever, Danny Sanz: Proof:

Kim is now the new spokes person for Lip Fusion, one of Sephora's top selling lip plumpers with collagen benefits. It seems her face is gold, she pops up everywhere. She came out with a Kim Kardashian fragrance (The volumptous fragrance), exclusive at Sephora. It smells just like Marc Jacobs orignal though. I'm not a fan of floral scents, but if you like Marc or Micheal Korrs, then you'll like it.

I love Kim though, I really do think she's a nice person from what I see on television and in magazines. Maybe I'm nieve, but this is what I think.

Do you think Kim is beautiful, or are you just tired of seeing her face?

Guess what the mail man brought?

My mother purchased a subscription to Make-Up Artist Magazine for me. It comes a few times a year, and today was now the fourth one I've recieved. This mag is so educational, and I love learning new techiniques. I feel my creative energy flowing as I open Make-Up Artist. You get an inside peek of how special effects are done for current and classic movies. I am absolutely in love with this book. My mom did a good job getting this for me. Mom's do know best. If you love to read or even stare at awesome artistry pictures, this magazine is right up your alley too!

Sometimes the covers can be quite scary, the models look so in character you have to take a deep breath in awe. This month's cover is awesome..
What do you guys think of that cover? Her neck and hands are all body paint, so pretty!

Does this inspire you, cause it sure as hell inspires me:

Mini "just got paid" Haul/ FOTD

My mini "just got paid" Haul: I bought from left to right: Tresemme Full Volume Conditioner, CVS makeup removing wipes, Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleanser, Benefit Posie tint cheek stain, Harajuku limited edition wallet, Essie Sexy divide nailpolish, Sponges for cleansing my face, Sephora lip palette, Sephora lash primer, lash/brow comb, Physicians Formula green color corrector, Ardel false lashes #105, Physicians Formula light bronzer, and deep bronzer (I use one to contour my face, and the lighter shade all over my face to make me some what human color) lol. This is the Essie nail polish in Sexy divide. Sexy is the adjective to describe this color, it's so sultry! It's been wearing well, but Essie has never let me down yet!

This is my limited edition Harajuku wallet, so me! The pictures on it consist of false lashes, curlers, eyelash curler, Harajuku girls (Love, Angel, Music, Baby, and Gwen). I love this wallet, I had the winter version of it, but this one is so much better by far! Gwen Stefani is an awesome designer. I also wear the fragrance in Baby, smells like no more tangles. I am a fan of light, shower fresh, powder scents. It's my every day fragrance. This is my FOTD (blogger lingo, I'm catching on):
I used my new Sephora lash primer. I also used my new Sephora lip palette, the color is sentimental rose. My eyes are from a Claire's color palette in light as my base and dark pink in my crease, My highlighter color is from Dior in sparkle. Love all my new products, I've tried them all already. As you can see from the picture the conditioner really does volumize hair!

Had so much fun this morning doing my makeup, and now I'm off to my boyfriends house to show off my look. ;)

A survey for the makeup obsessed!

I made this survey, I'm curious to see what others will write. I wrote the questions before answering them, not realizing how hard they are to answer. Enjoy! ;)

A survey for the Makeup Obsessed:

1. MAC or Sephora? I would say Sephora, but I cheat on Sehpora with MAC now. (SSsshhh!)

2. Your favorite feature on yourself? My eyes.

3. One makeup item you could never live without? Foundation, once you start you can't stop.

4. Who are your three celebrity inspirations? Marilyn Monroe (so cliche, but classic beauty), Angelina Jolie (even though she's been pretty bad over the past few years), and lately Lady Gaga (sometimes she can me a hit or miss).

5. Your favorite cosmetics line? Makeup Forever is my fav, I love their pigments, they never dissappoint me.

6. What is the most cash you EVER dropped on cosmetics? On a yearly basis I spend thousands! But the most would be around $500 in one shot, but keep in mind I bought a $250 dollar airbrush system.

7. What is your favorite daily product? Lipsmackers!

8. If you had to sacrifice one makeup item for life, what would it be? Omg, this is asking too much, I think I may hyperventilate! I need to move on...

9. How many cosmetic items do you carry in your purse everyday? Well at work I'm only aloud to have 5, but I still go over the limit half the time. If I could carry it all I would. So on a daily I'd say about 12 items.

10. Would you say you have a makeup obsession? Umm, guilty!

TAG YOUR IT!
