Get Naked.

I read awhile back, I believe in Elle magazine, that getting naked during daily activities can help you lose weight. You become more conscious of your body and find yourself holding in your stomach more, perhaps even avoiding the fridge. You also become more comfortable in your own skin, being naked more makes you more confident with clothes on. I also am a firm believer, as I said before, that if you are positive with yourself, you will be a healthier better you. I tried doing some daily stuff in my birthday suit, and I must say it really did help me in my own self awareness. I think it's only fair to ourselves to love the skin we're in, and being naked is the most vulnerable state we can be, so I say embrace yourself and maybe Elle was right, we can be fit and happy. I'm willing to try anything.. lol.

Do you think stripping down can help one's self image or is this a flop?

Hint for contest: Angelina Jolie goes into a lotion coma once a week and saturates her body with lotion...

  5. I think this is really true actually. It makes sense that you probably would avoid stuffing yourself if you're going to be sitting down and seeing your gut pop out at you. =P Anyways, I also think this is a great way to embrace your body. I've never walked totally nakey around the house -usually booty shorts and a bikini top or a tank but not wearing so much clothing feels relaxing and "freeing" in a way. Sleeping naked and wonderful too!

  6. I do think this would work but as i have 2 boys 3 at a weekend who bring there friends over all the time dont think it would be a good idea.
    I do think wearing less does help though. Sometimes when i am just out the shower i have to run after my son and i always think god i hope nobody comes in the door ha xx

  8. @ Alegra and Justine: I'm sure the Brit picture is airbrushed a bit, but yeah she definitely looks banging!

    @Ariel: haha, yeah you definitely have to swoop low when you get to large windows haha, or invest in some high tech blinds lol.

    @Silhouette Screams: This comment literally had me LOL. It's just you and your body alone walking around brushing your teeth or what not. I say be comfy in your skin.

    @Kali: I'm the same way, I'm comfy to be in a tank and shorts, but it makes sense to start being more comftorable with myself and embracing myself in my nued lol.

    @nicoletta: Guess this idea isn't great for everyone. I'm sure your sons friends already think you're pretty so your son may never forgive you if you started a nued trend in the house. I'd avoid this too, if I were you. lol

    @Corrine: LOL, I totally agree!

  11. Yay! Great post! I work at home so doing chores nekkid is my thing. I clean naked all the time and often work in my undies...with a full face of makeup. Ha!
    Makes me look at myself in the full length mirror more often and does make me more aware of my body.
    I just need to remember to keep my front door locked and blinds closed in case a friend stops by unannounced or the mailman comes to my door...which is glass so you can see my whole living room and dining room if the blinds are open. Not good for wanting to run around nekkid!
